Local News: Rob Suspect Falls to Cops
A robbery suspect was apprehended in Victorias City by local police authorities and turned over to the City’s Social Welfare and Development, recently.
PSupt. Alexander A. Muñoz, police chief, PO3 Valentin G. Cerdeña and PO1 Wilson Lataquin arrested a 17-year old resident of Fermont Village, Brgy. VII for charges of robbery effected through a warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 40-Silay City Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio.
Police report said the teenager was endorsed to local Social Welfare and Development in-charge Emma Vargas for custody after an order of manifest from RTC Branch 69 Judge Felipe G. Banzon issued on June 1, 2012.
A P24, 000 bail was set for the subject’s temporary release.
Meanwhile, PO2’s Rowell A. Peniero and Glenn T. Bolaoro nabbed Bonifacio Jaroma, 51, of Purok Ma. Elena, Brgy. Dulao in Bago City for alleged frustrated illegal discharge of firearm.
His arrest was effected through an alias warrant in criminal case number M-Bago-12-035-CR issued by Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Judge Herminigildo S. Octaviano on June 8, 2012. He is presently detained at Bago City Police and will be endorsed to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. *
