Local News: Cafgu Nabbed for Attempted Murder

A member of the Civilian Active Auxiliary (CAA) or Cafgu was apprehended recently by members of the Hinobaan Police for charges of attempted murder.

Juanito Eroyla, 52, of Sitio Cansuguinban, Brgy. San Rafael, Hinobaan was nabbed through a warrant in criminal case number 97-2002 for the crime of attempted murder. The warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 61 Judge Edgardo L. De los Santos on August 11, 1998.

A bail bond amounting to P120, 000 was recommended for his temporary release. Reports added that the suspect was arrested at Maricalum Detachment located at Brgy. Maricalum, Sipalay City.

He was turned over to Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facilities.* (RRM)
