Feature: Welcome Home Aiko & Daisuke!

Mr. & Mrs. Honorato Tamayo, Sr. tendered a welcome home party for their only daughter Cecilia (Aiko in Japanese) and her husband Daisuke Kumagai after they

landed at Silay- Bacolod International Airport from Tokyo last Sunday evening, June 17. The gathering took place in the Tamayo residence on Carter Street in Bel Air Subdivision, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City. Cecilia is the youngest of four children of Natnat, Sr. and Luz, the other three young men are Winston, Wilson and Natnat, Jr. The last time she came home for vacation was six years ago. It was more of a family get together with only a few special guests among them were Liston Tamayo’s buddy, Ryosuke Kashiwagi, Natnat. Jr.’s fiancie Christine and her Mom, Mrs. Ruiz and NDB’s Albert Rile, neighbour and close friend of the family.

There was plenty of food for everybody to partake among them, the ubiquitous lechon, fried fish and fried Bisaya chicken, fritada, arroz a la Valenciana, pancit Molo (which Daisuke likes so much), fried prawns, maja blanca, fruit punch, etc. The party started soon as Daisuke and Aiko arrived and it sure was a lot of fun. Actually, the couple was scheduled to come home for a visit last May 15 but their trip was postponed due to pressure of work. Both of them are involved in hotel management in Tokyo hence, they have to get back to work in a couple of days. However, they plan to come back to Bacolod with the parents of Daisuke early next year. Daisuke and Aiko have been married for three years in Tokyo, Japan where they both work and reside.*
