Local News: Man Facing Rob with Homicide Falls to Cops

A 19-year old suspect of robbery with homicide was arrested, Wednesday afternoon at Hacienda Unson, Brgy. Purisima, Manapla in a joint operation conducted by Manapla Police and elements of 6RPSB, 2nd Maneuver Platoon.

Ruben Calumag, of Brgy. Purisima was nabbed for charges of robbery with homicide through a warrant in criminal case number 6495-40 issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 40-Silay City Judge Reynaldo M. Alon on August 22, 2008.

The arrest was effected by PSInsp. Edencio L. Gregorio, Manapla Police Station chief and PSInsp. Nero M. Hobrero.

No bail was recommended for Calumag’s temporary release. He is presently detained at Manapla Police Station.* (RRM)
