Events: BFP, Kabankalan DRRMC Join Training Course
A total of 55 trainees composed of personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection, City Fire Station, Traffic Management Office, rescue volunteer group and city employees hurdled the eight-day fire prevention and suppression training course conducted by the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshall in Kabankalan City.
As mandated by RA 10121, the DRRM Act of 2010, the training puts the trainees to the test on subjects covering general fire, fire fighting apparatus, tools and equipment, fire suppression and control and emergency medical operations.
The lectures were held at the Family Life Resource Center, Barangay Binicuil and the Simulation Drills at the City Airport Site, Barangay Hilamonan.
It is the first BFP training course for LGU for accreditation as BFP Fire Brigade.
The trainees received their certificate of completion from Superintendent Fred Trajeras, Jr., Provincial Fire Marshall and Kabankalan City Mayor Isidro P. Zayco during the closing ceremonies at the Farmer’s Training Center last Wednesday.*
