A farmer in Kabankalan City was rushed to Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital after he was hacked multiple times allegedly by his neighbor near their residence in Brgy. Tapi, Saturday afternoon.

Arturo Vicente, 58, a farmer from Sitio Candiacap, Brgy. Tapi sustained multiple hack wounds on different parts of his body allegedly inflicted by his neighbor identified as Leonardo Paglumotan alias Ming-ming, 49 years old.

Police investigators are still conducting follow-up investigation to determine motive of the case and to arrest the suspect.

Meanwhile, concerned citizen reported to Murcia Police that a stabbing incident took place inside the town’s jail about 11:20PM, Saturday.

SPO1 Danilo Pastro, of Murcia Police Station who conducted initial investigation identified the victim as Henry Guigon, 50, of Brgy. Zone 5 and sustained multiple stab wounds in the stomach, left shoulder, left back portion of his body and left leg.

Guigon who is still confined at Bacolod Adventist Medical Center told probers that he was attacked by alias Dec-dec Aguilar, Jao Aguilar and one unidentified male companion of the Aguilars. The three remain at-large while manhunt operation is being conducted.* (RRM)
