Events: Feeding at Barangay 19

The Gender and Developent (GAD) Council, through the Office of Councilor Em Legaspi Ang recently conducted a supplemental feeding project at Barangay 19 where more than one hundred children were given fortified arroz caldo. Barangay Captain Jocelyn Uychiat and other barangay officials thanked Ang for bringing her "Action for Nutrition and Growth" program to their barangay.

Ang said that children should be provided with adequate nutrition for their proper physical and mental development. Ang’s nutrition campaign program is being implemented in various barangays and is aimed at providing proper intervention to poorly nourished children.*
