Local News: Girl, 2, Drowns

After receiving several reactions following the death of two little girls in the hands of their mother recently in Hinigaran, another two year old girl was found dead inside their comfort room, Wednesday afternoon in Valladolid.

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) reports said, Judie Paiman, of Purok 5, Crossing Pacol, Brgy. Palaka was discovered inside a container filled with water placed inside their comfort room and believed to have drowned.

The toddler was found by her mother, Mary Joy Grantos, 21, and her live-in partner Eddie Paiman, 31. She was immediately brought to Valladolid District Hospital but was declared dead by attending physicians.

Police probers are conducting follow-up investigation on the case; while cause of death is being determined.* (RRM)
