Local News: 2 Men Facing Frustrated Homicide Raps Collared
Two men in Victorias City were arrested separately for charges of frustrated homicide by local police authorities; Wednesday through the City police’s intensified drive against persons with warrant for their arrest.
PSupt. Alexander A. Muñoz, police chief with PO3 Valentin G. Cerdeña apprehended Nestor Vista Jr., 18, of Green Village, Brgy. 13 for charges of frustrated homicide at about 5:05PM, Wednesday.
Vista’s arrest was effected through a warrant in criminal case number 8606-68, 2012-64 issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) 6th Judicial Region Branch 69 Judge Felipe G. Banzon on May 7, 2012.
Also apprehended was Rene Boy Celeste, 24, of Hacienda Luisa, Brgy. 13 for the same charges in criminal case number 8608-69, 2012-62. He was nabbed at Torreno Heights, Brgy. 9, about 5PM, Wednesday.
Both persons are detained for failure to post bail amounting to P24, 000.00 each for their temporary release.* (RRM)
