Diskwento Caravan, a program of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), will offer big discounts on prices of various items, during the trade fair at the canteen area of the Bacolod City New Government Center (NGC) from May 29 to 31, 2012.

Hosted by DTI, Diskwento Caravan will allow consumers, especially wage earners to buy certain products at manufacturers’/producers’ discounted price, thus, extending the value of the Peso for them.

Bacolod Executive Assistant Ernesto Pined, City Cooperative & Livelihood Development Office OIC Brenda Burdeo, and City Agriculturist Goldwyn Nifras, will assist DTI during the caravan.

DTI is inviting producers, manufacturers and retailers from the province of Negros Occidental to join the "Diskwento Caravan", according to Max Ravena, DTI Chief of the Business

Regulatory Consumer Welfare Division (BRCWD).

Interested parties may contact the offices of the said city officials, or keep in touch with Mr. Max Ravena at his office at telephone number (034) 4347920.*
