Local News: Cash, Valuables Lost in Bago City Heist

An estimated P96,000 worth of valuables and cash were stolen from a resident of Purok Riverside, Brgy. Atipuluan in Bago City, recently.

Police report said, Jose Gilbert Laguyo, 43, a businessman, lodged a complaint before local police authorities that three unidentified persons armed with short guns came to mug them at gunpoint and took the following; one 9mm caliber pistol with 2 magazines, 132 live ammunitions, one laptop, 5 cellular phones, one necklace worth P3,500 and cash amounting to P12,000.

The suspects also took the Kawasaki motorcycle owned by Carmelito Dinanoy as their getaway vehicle when they withdrew towards East direction of Brgy. Atipuluan.

Later, the said getaway vehicle was recovered by police officers in the area of Brgy. Ma-ao which was abandoned by the suspects.

Investigation on the case is underway.*
