Local news: Cops in Pursuit of Fleeing Suspects in Shooting, Stabbing

La Castellana Police are now conducting follow-up operation to arrest the suspects allegedly involved in the shooting and stabbing of two locals Wednesday evening at Brgy. Puso.

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) revealed that two unidentified men reportedly attacked Michael Corzon, 21, and Julian Villanocha, 20, both of Brgy. Puso, La Castellana.

Corzon sustained a gunshot wound on the back portion of his body and brought to Elumba Medical Clinic; meanwhile, Villanocha sustained two stab wounds in his body and rushed to Isabela District Hospital.

However, both victims were transferred to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for further medical treatment.

Policemen are conducting follow-up operations to identify and arrest the suspects.*
