Local News: Farmer Shot Dead in Revelry

A farmer was killed while attending a revelry, recently at Brgy. Crossing Magallon in Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.

Demetrio Arce Jr., 26, of Hacienda Sto. Domingo, Brgy. Crossing Magallon was shot dead by an unidentified assailant using an unknown caliber of firearm. He was pronounced dead by attending physician at Ignacio Arroyo Memorial District Hospital. He sustained a gunshot wound on the chest.

Arce, according to SPO2 Leo B. Laguna was attending the annual patronal fiesta of Hacienda Sto. Domingo when the incident happened.

The suspect remains at-large.

Meanwhile, another shooting incident took place Tuesday evening at Kilometer 11.5 North Proper Irrigation, Brgy. Taloc, Bago City.

Herman Lobrido, 41, of Purok Camingawan, Brgy. Taloc was allegedly shot by Danilo Montebon alias Dagol hitting him in the lower part of his chest.

Montebon, 48, of Purok High School, Brgy. Taloc fled the scene after the shooting.He remains at-large.
