Events: Talisay Kagawad Receives Livestock, Poultry from Capitol
The Negros First Kagawad Association of Talisay City received 40 piglets, 400 kabir chicks and veterinary drugs, that will be distributed among its members for a source of livelihood for the Talisaynons.
The turnover of the project was held at the Capitol Social Hall, yesterday, spearheaded by the Provincial Veterinary Office, and attended by Talisay City barangay captains and kagawads.
The group had an orientation on the poultry and livestock management held two months ago, prior to the turnover of said project, to ensure its sustainability and good production.
Negros First Kagawad Association of Talisay City is headed by its president, Sulpicio Verdeflor, Jr.
Present in the activity were Board Member Patrick Lac-son of the Third District, Executive Asst. to the Governor Nonong Verdeflor, Provincial Livelihood Coordinator Perfecto Marañon, and Provincial Veterinarian Ren-ante Decena.* (Capitol News)
