Sports: 33rd Pasalamat Festival Hosts Tennis Tourney

The 33rd Pasalamat Festival of La Carlota City hosted the 2nd Congressman/Mayor Ferrer Pasalamat Tennis Tournament which started yesterday and will end until April 26 in La Carlota City Tennis court.

Five categories are being contested - the Men’s Class A 35-above Doubles, Men’s Class B Doubles, Men’s Class C Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Women’s Doubles.

The Men’s Open Singles Tournament will also be played only until April 21.

Prizes at stake are P2,500 for Men’s Singles semi-finalist; P5,000 for Men’s Singles runner-up; P10,000 for Men’s Singles Champion and P20,000 for Team Champion.* (CMGarde)

Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC.
