The signing was witnessed by SSBAFI Board of Director Jean V. Trebol and Board Member Melvin Ibañez, chairman of the SP Committee on Health.
The donated items include 21 refurbished hospital beds with mattresses, five foldable wheelchairs, five tiltable wheelchairs, five Stryker beds with bed pads, and one unit of combo food warmer.
TLJPH Chief Dr. Girlie Pinongan expressed gratitude to SSBAFI for the donation of the much-needed equipment since the hospital is expanding its bed capacity to accommodate more patients.
The provincial government will reimburse SSBAFI with handling fees to enable them to maintain their funds intended for the purpose of facilitating donations to serve the less fortunate and underprivileged.*
