"Family is the true foundation of successful commnity," We celebrate Family Day to live our family values at the fullest and highest level. We give importance to the role of a family in making a progressive society." Thus declared Dr. Cesar Adapon Sr. Dev.-Principal-Victorias National High School during the celebration of the VNHS Family Day & Rummage Sale in Victorias City Friday .

Judy Ann M. Clavel-Presidenmt, Parent-Teachers’ Association in her message said," Today’s celebration theme is " Unity as a Family". Parents were bound by the school because of our children. We go hand in hand with the teachers in making our students’ aspirations, being the hope of our nation. "We aim to develop, teach and mold the youth to become a better person in our society. We are here today to make this event successful. To thank and teach each and everyone the bond to join and enjoy our day’s affair as a family. Hopefully, this will give us experiences and to enjoy getting acquainted by our teachers and to know the parents of our student." PTA President Clavel pointed out.

Aubrey Clavel- President,Supreme Student Government Organization of Victorias National High School in her welcome remarks stressed the importance of togetherness, camaraderie of one’s family to cherish and enjoy the momentous events of the year.

Plaque of recognition were awarded to ABS-CBN and Negros Daily Bulletin for their laudable participation in covering the VNHS Family Day Celebration after the turnover of the VNHS-PTA to ABS-CBN 3rd trance of a truckload of relief goods assistance for earthquake victims in Guihulngan, Negros Oriental. Barangay Kapa-milya-ABS-CBN, PTA Got Talent, Rummage Sale, Booth Contest, Raffles and many activities continued in the afternoon until evening.*

Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) in the Locale of Tangub and other locales in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, are inviting the public to their ‘Pamamahayag’, during which they will present the teachings and doctrines of the INC.
