Sports: Pag-IBIG Fund Employees to Hold ‘Unity Run 2012’

The Pag-Ibig Fund Employees Labor Association (PAFELA) - Bacolod Chapter will hold its first “Unity Run 2012” on March 24 at the Bacolod City Government Center.
The event, in cooperation with Pag-Ibig Fund-Bacolod Branch Management, has the theme “Pakwela sang PAFELA para Pang-Eskuela,” as part of the chapter’s union anniversary.

Event chairman Mae Ramos said the fun run will start at 6 a.m. at the Bacolod City Government Center on March 24, 2012. The events are 5K, 10K and 16K.

The fun run aims to raise funds to augment the needs of the less fortunate public school elementary students for the next school opening.

The 5-kilometer run will start from the BCGC to Riverwalk and back to BCGC while the 10-kilometer run will start from the BCGC to Villa Angela to Our Lady of Rural Mission and back to BCGC.

The 16 kilometer run will start from the BCGC to Villa Angela to Providence, Sta. Fe area and back to BCGC.

Registration fee ranges from P50 to P450.
