Events: Photo Exhibit on Women’s Rights Starts Today
As the world celebrates International Women’s Day, professional photographer and photojournalist Owen Segovia Bayog is presenting a one-man photo exhibit entitled “FREEDOM NO LESS: Images of Women And Children”. The said exhibit will be a showcase of 10 collages depicting the women of today and their struggle for national democracy. The event will be hosted by La Consolacion College Bacolod, from March 8-14, 2012 at the school’s Main Lobby.
Bayog, who has been a photojournalist since August of 2007 believes that his photographs can be effective tools in further disseminating public awareness on how the women of today continue to fight for freedom and equality.
