Local News: SG Falls for Robbing British National

A security guard was arrested by local police authorities in San Carlos City for allegedly robbing a British national along with a woman suspect about 3:45PM, Thursday.

Police reports revealed that Jesus Cuguas, 36, a security guard and resident of Purok Gemilina, Brgy. 1 was apprehended by elements of duty mobile alert team led by PO3 Carlos Alob.

Cuguas was allegedly with Lolita Cabatuan alias Ewing when they were caught stealing P35, 000 cash and the cellular phone of Ian Houghton, 36, of Moalboal, Cebu.

 

oughton was robbed allegedly while staying at Lola Nitang Pension House located at Locsin St., Brgy. 4, San Carlos City.

The suspects escaped after taking the loot; however, Cabuguas was collared by members of the mobile alert team during the conduct of pursuit operation.

Charges for theft will be filed against them by PO2 Jorda D. Baynosa.* (RRM)
